"A naive young addict joins The Immunda Experiment, a successful rehabilitation centre. She quickly finds herself in a personal conflict between what she thinks is right, and the 'family' into which she has been accepted".
There is a lot to say about this film - and for the journey that I undertook in making it. I was originally not signed on to DP it - I got a call a day before photography was to commence from the director explaining to me that the original DP pulled out. I hadn't seen a script, nor had I had any idea of what we were playing with equipment wise. It was, in many ways, a baptism of fire which I wouldn't want to repeat (when I say that I mean most of the film's photography was planned the night before the shoot and I'd be making changes on the fly). Thankfully we had a cinematographer legend on board to guide and support me. Phil Méheux was unbelievable - eccentric, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. He didn't try to make it his own but refined and guided the style I was trying to incorporate into the film which relied heavily on planimetric shooting with a sense of unease and dysfunction,
