About
Jameson White is an award-winning photographer, cinematographer and graphic designer from Manchester, United Kingdom.
Although his career bloomed from stills photography and graphic design, today Jameson works predominantly in moving image - both as an industry assistant and as an author of his own body of work. Between 2016 and 2019, Jameson has assisted camera and lighting departments in feature film and television, receiving mentorship from the likes of revered cinematographers, Phil Méheux and George Richmond.
Today, Jameson collaborates with directors and artists in Bristol and London. Between 2019 and 2023, Jameson directed photography on several narrative and non-narrative films for which he has received various accolades and recognitions. In late 2021 he was shortlisted in an article by British Cinematographer magazine for his work on The Immunda Experiment, a short film which was awarded the 'Best Film' prize at the ODEON-NYFA film awards.
With many projects in active development under his production company, Red Hat Productions, Jameson now has his sights set on the physical art world. In early 2024, his first exhibition is set to open at The Launderette in Bristol - a collaboration between himself and acclaimed Welsh artist, Helen Acklam.
